Eric Jégat, briefly. |
After my studies at the Beaux-arts in Paris, where Pierre Caron taught me painting, I studied etching for three years with Virgil Nevjestic. That’s how through chance encounters, mediums and materials accumulated. In 1998 in Italy my encounter with Alberto Casiraghy marked the beginning of a collaboration. Pilcino Elefante editions printed four artist books I made. This made me start to realize. The same year sees the beginning of my collaboration with the Mireille Batut D’Haussy art gallery. I also design stained glass windows in Poitou and Britanny, where my work is regularly exhibited in various cultural centers and galeries.
